Job Summary

Our client, a prominent technology firm based in Dubai, seeks an experienced IT Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate must possess a robust technical background and be capable of providing end-user support, diagnosing and resolving technical problems, and maintaining computer systems and networks. Additionally, the IT Specialist will be accountable for developing and executing IT policies and procedures, as well as training end-users on new technologies and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues, including
  troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems and networks, including
  hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Develop and execute IT policies and procedures to ensure the security
  and integrity of the company's information systems and data.
• Train end-users on new technologies and software, including
  conducting training sessions and creating user manuals.
• Manage and monitor the company's IT assets, including hardware and
  software inventory.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to design and implement new
  IT systems and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards,
  including data protection laws and industry regulations.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures to
  ensure business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist
• Experience in developing and executing IT policies and procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with network security and data protection.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies is a plus.
